Franco @ The Curve

Cafe Au Lait (RM 8.80) ~ Nice, smooth & no bitter after taste.

Smoked Chicken Ham & Egg (RM 15.80) ~ There was no egg inside. Super happy that they flooded it with cucumber as requested. Bread is tough & hard to eat, tried cutting it using the knife that was provided and I shooked the whole table like an earthquake.

Vegetarian Pasta (RM 24.80) ~ Delicious.

Matcha Souffle (RM 16.80) ~ Outside layer is yummy, inside is slightly too thick.

The food here is not bad, we were almost satisfied with our meal. Almost because the table is so cramp, barely had space to put anything. Cannot even order extra as there is no place on the table. 1/4 of it is occupied by the basket of cutleries. Each time they bring our order we had to squeeze our things one side.

A lady next to our table crossed her legs on the chair which was quite disgusting and rude, we can see the bottom part of her feet which was really uncool. I don't mind if you cross your legs but do it if the table is covered and your feet is not staring at your neighbors. Franco's tables has gaps and the tables are so close to one another especially the ones near the entrance. Another table on our right had a baby who kept crying & crying & crying & crying & squirming & fidgeting which was very disturbing. I understand that baby's can be naughty and noisy all the time but the baby was literally screaming at our ears so please be considerate and bring your baby outside & calm him down. (I was sitting so close that I don't even have to stretch to touch the baby).

Milkcow @ Sunway Pyramid

Woohoo, another outlet in Pyramid.

Cookie & Cream (RM 11) with Salted Caramel Macaroon (RM 4) ~ Ice cream is a letdown compared to the one in Mid Valley outlet.

I remembered how yummy the Macao Dream I had in Milkcow Midvalley, I was so eager to have it again. I was walking around Pyramid then I saw Milkcow, it's like my wish came true and no queue. But to be honest it was kinda disappointing, I'm not sure why but the ice cream & the salted caramel macaroon here don't taste as good as the one I had in Midvalley. Anyone of you feel the same? Probably queueing makes it taste better.

Hot Chocolate (RM 10) ~ Okay, slightly too thick. Perhaps more milk will be good.

Salted Caramel Macaroon (RM 4) ~ Yum Yum.

Salted Caramel & Red Velvet Macaroon (RM 4 ech) ~ Both are nice but I prefer Salted Caramel.

Nutella Macaroon (RM 4) ~ Nice.

Jipangi @ Sunway Pyramid

Vanilla Ice Cream (RM 7) ~ Vanilla ice cream is so so & cone is almost tasteless.

It looked really obscene when I was trying to eat this. Well if you look at it properly it does look like a men's genitals. Baby didn't wanna have it, he says it looks like he is eating his own di**. Hahaa.

Don't get me wrong it is interesting that the cone is shaped 'J' for Jipangi but I believe that sometimes interesting is not sufficient. I've always liked those motorcycle ice cream that sells cone ice cream for RM1.50 and I can mix a couple of flavors (usually yam, chocolate, vanilla & strawberry), in this case I would say the motor ice cream taste much much better than this & the cone is tastier than Jipangi.

This is motor ice cream :)

Cone ice cream, consists of Yam, Chocolate & Vanilla. Satisfying.

Taipei House Revisit @ SS2

Spicy Pork Steamboat (RM 19) ~ Yum Yum.
Added RM 3.50 to get Rice with Minced Pork, yummy too.

Cabbage Acar is too sour, sauce is good.

Jelly Fungus (RM 4.90) ~ Not bad but too much nuts.

Yay free drink.

Jasmine Tea ~ Slightly bitter.

Same thing happen this time too, the sweet waitress is still the one doing all the work, taking initiative to clean empty plates while the others are busy with their handphones.

Dim Sum @ Hong Kee Restaurant, Taipan USJ

Porridge ~ The only decent food here.

Foo Chok ~ Crappy, barely warm & not crispy at all.

Ladyfinger ~ Okay.

Shumai with Crabstick ~ So So.

Shumai ~ So So.

Har Gaw ~ So So.

Wrapped Bacon ~ Bacon is okay.

Fishball ~ Bleahh.

Fried Radish Cake ~ Okay.

I mentioned a couple of times that I don't like dim sum because it's expensive and not nice, I was dragged here by mom obviously. The only place for dim sum that I approve of is Tao Chinese Cuisine at Intercontinental Hotel. One you have tried Tao, other dim sums are horrible. Hong Kee dim sum is so bad compared to them. Of course Tao is more expensive but totally worth it.

I'm not sure how Hong Kee charges their dimsum, there's dim sum price of RM1.90, RM4, RM5.30 & RM7. Ours was marked from RM4 till RM7, and the total bill is RM49.70. For that amount of money I could have eat something much better, nicer & more filling. Apologies but I really do have something against bad dim sum.
