Taipei House Revisit @ SS2

Lotus Root Soup (RM 2) ~ Okay la, can't really complaint much it's only RM 2 afterall.

Spicy Pork Steamboat (RM 21) ~ Yum Yum.

Rice with Minced Pork ~ Yummy.

Le Cottage Steamboat @ Kawasan Lanskap & Nursery, Petaling Jaya

Located opposite Pusat Memancing Udang.

Entrance is towards the right.

Just opened about 2 weeks ago.

I made reservations about a week ago on Facebook, however when I arrived I mentioned my name and the lady said that there is no reservation under Caryn =.="" I opened my FB chat with Le Cottage and showed her the conversation and she said okay she'll look for a table for me and if I could wait a while. While waiting we went exploring and we stumble across a couple of really huge Arapaima Gigas Fish. I hate to fall into the water with them in it, each look like they can swallow me whole, EEEKKK!

I'm scared :/

There's quite a bit of empty tables behind.

It's pretty with all the lights at night but I'm afraid to cross it. I'm scared of dark water, not sure what's lurking beneath it; if you know what I mean.

Pork Rib & Stomach Pepper Soup (RM 28) ~ Expensive. I know I love putting pepper in my soup but this is overkill.

Sliced Premium Pork Loin Roll Large (RM 18) ~ If this is Large I wonder how small is small?

Japanese Beancurd (RM 6).

Japanese Udon (RM 6) ~ Don't leave the udon too long in the soup, the udon completely absorb the pepper taste.

Pork Ball with Mushroom Small (RM 9) ~ Nice.

Pork Paste (RM 12) / Fish Paste (RM 12) ~ Both are good.

Crispy Squid with Salt & Pepper (RM 12) ~ Horrible, I can only taste flour.

Fried Lotus Root Slice Small (RM 6) ~ Tasteless.

Total bill cost RM117, super pricey for the food that we had and it was nothing special. I think the fee we paid was used to maintain the Gigas fishes :/

BBQ Town @ Mid Valley

BBQ Sweet Sauce is good (3rd on the right).

Unlimited refills of beef / chicken / lamb slice. There's also unlimited refill of different veggies / squid / prawns / tofu / sushi / ice cream. Apologies but I did not take picture of the wonderful spread.

Chicken ~ Very tasty.

Lamb Slice ~ Nice.

Choice of sesame oil or lamb/chicken fat cube shaped to assist in cooking the meat.

Rolls.

Unlimited cabbage refill to make the soup sweet.

Check out the veggies I took.

Mixture of green tea & chocolate ice cream. So so.

All You Can Eat Buffet cost RM39.80/person. Drinks are refillable, choice between Ice Lemon Tea or Green Tea. It's very similar to BBQ Plaza except the cooking plate is bigger, slightly different ingredients and at BBQ Plaza you get to use butter to cook which I find so much easier.

Jiro Shabu Revisit @ Taipan USJ

I love putting chilli sauce, add chilli powder, garlic & soy sauce. Yum Yum.

Clear Chicken Soup.

Deluxe Pork Shabu (RM 29.90) ~ It's actually very pricey as the basket of veggies contains little veggies and the pork slices are really thin. If I'm sharing this with my dad it's fine cause he's a small eater, if with Baby then no way.

Premium Egg Tofu (RM 2.90) + Premium Crabstick (RM 3.90).

Pre-Soaked Cuttlefish (RM 4.90) ~ Very thin slices of cuttlefish, you can barely taste them.

Ramen (RM 2).

I eat here quite often even though it's pricey because it's near my place and unfortunately 100 degree Steamboat has already closed down so this is the closest I can get. Jiro is not bad, I just find their things pricey for that little portion.

Jiro Shabu @ Taipan USJ

Bloopp blooopp....

Sauce Station.

Price of items on the conveyor belt depends on color.

Sauce is served to you, too salty.

Kombu Dashi Soup Base (Complimentary with Pork Shabu Set) ~ Soup is bland.

Miso Soup Base (RM 5) ~ Soup has more taste than Kombu Dashi.

Pork Shabu Set (RM 19.90) ~ Portion is quite small, pork slices are very thin and the bowl are stuff are veggies. So only the mee makes you full.

Pork slices are really thin.

Only veggies.

Udon Noodles (RM 2.90).

Premium Crabstick (RM 3.90) ~ This I like premium at an affordable price.

Egg Tofu (RM 2.90).

Complimentary, served at the end of your meal. Very sour at first but it gets better.

Complimentary Watermelon, served at the end of your meal. Has the medicine smell and taste.

If you order Ala-Carte, soup base is charged at RM5 per pot regardless of how many Ala-Carte items you order. Unlike at 100 Degree Steamboat whose soup base is complimentary if you order 3 items or more. Unfortunately 100 Degree has already closed.
