KLCC Parking Machine ~ Bad Experience

I'm sure everyone knows how expensive it is to park in KLCC, its RM 3 per hour. I finished my dinner went down, queue up to pay at the machine. Parking is RM 6, hmm still acceptable, slot in RM 10, the machine spat my money out. Okay tried it again and again and again. What's wrong with this machine I thought, do I look ugly or something? Then I saw the screen EXACT CHANGE ONLY!

I hurried upstairs to the nearest shop I can find which is Gong Cha just beside the escalator. Asked the small boy tending the cashier if he could be so kind enough to exchange my RM 10 for 2 pieces of RM 5. I think it is a reasonable request for anyone person in their right state of mind to say yes. He said no! I was like WTF! I asked him why? He said he needed the change. I said it's already 10pm what change do you need you are closing. He said I need it for tomorrow. Little idiot! I showed him the look before rushing off.

I walked to opposite shop and asked the lady at the counter, she said sure just give her a minute she is trying to swipe the customer's card. I said sure. The customer seeing me wait offered to exchange the notes for me. Thank the heavens for two kind souls. I ran to the machine queue up and inserted my ticket, guess what it says RM 9 now. ARGHHHHH! I didn't have change again. I now have 1x RM 50, 2x RM 1, and 2x RM 5. This is really frustrating. I turn behind ask the gentleman if he has change, he said yes. Thank God! If I have to run up and find change again I will kill myself. I handed him RM 5, he said he didn't have change. I told him it's fine keep the change. So instead of RM 6 my parking now costs RM 12.

I went home feeling extremely frustrated; I deal with clients a lot and customer service is extremely important and I find that the 2 incidents is completely unacceptable. I wrote an email to KLCC and CCed the email to Gong Cha. One week later I did not receive any reply, I picked up the phone and contacted KLCC and asked to be put to the right person in charge. This lady attended to me told me that she will look into this and will forward the email to the respective people. She is definitely doing her job because I receive an email and phone call of apology from Gong Cha that night itself. That's means the lazy bum who I emailed to sat on the email or purposely pretend to ignored it.

I appreciate Billy's effort for contacting me and apologizing. I told him it should not be him that should apologize and it should be that person who was being unhelpful to me. He said that he will speak to that staff in regards to this matter and explain to me that he is also a new staff. I guess to me it's not about whether or not he is a new staff but more of his helpfulness which is below zero in this case. From my perspective when he told me that he needs the change for tomorrow, in my mind I am thinking are you that lazy that you want to keep every change possible so that you do not have to go to the bank. Now that the matter has been resolved I can take that off my mind.

I do believe that I am voicing out this matter on behalf of other frustrated patrons who suffers the same problem with the parking machine. I do hope that KLCC will do something about it. We are customers and they are suppose to make our life easier and not harder. We are not some ATM machine or money changer to have change with us all the time. And what if we are to pay the parking after 10pm where no shops are open, stay there till the parking fee accumulates? This makes no sense.

Cafe Vienna @ KLCC

Need to wait two hours for my thing to be ready, so I walked around to see which place I could chill. Cafe Vienna looks promising so thought I give it a try.

Pizza Capri ~ Ham with mushrooms, pizza is normal nothing special; button mushroom is so thin I could barely taste it.

Tiramisu ~ Not fantastic but not bad.

I had a nice time eating while catching up on current affairs; I sat on the sofa which was a little low for the table. Staff was quite attentive so I have nothing much to complaint about. Food was not that good and not cheap either; pizza was RM 26.

Australian Bakery @ Seapark

Back when I was still working with KDU, after having Uncle's delicious porridge, I will come here with the gang for ice cream.

Flavors:  Red bean, corn, durian and etc.

My favorite is red bean. I don't like smelly durian. It used to be RM 1.10, now it's RM 1.20. Must be due to petrol price hike.

I miss these two a lot :/

Restoran Sun Fatt Kee @ Seapark

I'm on half day today, I went back to KDU to see my friends and eat the food that we always eat for lunch: Uncle Porridge.

Ooo my favorite:  Hard boiled egg, fish cake, and chaa choi.

This place might look run down, but Uncle's food is really good. So its worth sitting in this not so clean place :D

BBQ Plaza @ 1 Utama

Beautiful day to drive around.

 Where we heading???

You can see the highway from here.

Special sauce ~ Mix the garlic & chili padi with the sauce: MUST! the more the better. I use butter to cook & not pork oil.

Staring at the food with love :D

Family Pork Set.

Family Port Set also comes with chicken, fish, and squid.

Faster cook, I want to eat you. MUAHAHAHA!

Refill sauce please. The cabbage is also refillable :)

Added belly pork. Unless you like fats this is super good.

I love BBQ Plaza a lot, been having it many times so I know what to order as well as how to cook it. Some people don't find anything special about it but for me I really enjoy eating it. It's good, affordable and fun to cook (it's not like those typical BBQ steamboat where the oil splatters all over you and you go oww oww throughout dinner)

Laundry @ The Curve

I am going to have a good laugh especially if Daniel orders that.

Pina Colada ~ A mixture of coconut and lime; both which I don't take. Daniel was trying to force me to drink it, he said it was really good. I still didn't try it though.

Tartufo: A three layered chocolate cake with dark and white chocolate mousse covered with fudgiest frosting ~ Too sweet.

Bad habit: Playing with hps when you are suppose to be catching up. Keep the phone people!

Playing hangman on the table, chalk is provided.

Good friends till the end.

Private Kitchen @ Damansara Uptown

Love at First Sight ~ It's Jasmine Tea cool right, but Donna said it was biasa.

Sweet corn with seafood and crab meat soup ~ Absolutely delicious.

Stir-fried lotus roots with mixed vegetables ~ Super good, lotus is crunchy taste so good. Donna likes the black stuff. Hmmm.

Crispy fried tofu with salt & pepper ~ This is awesome; tofu inside is soft but yet skin is cripsy (amazing how they do that), and the way the chef uses salt & pepper on the outer layer makes the tofu taste so good.

Fried rice with scallops & salted egg yolk ~ Fried rice is nice, I like how the scallop adds flavor to the fried rice. One of the best fried rice I've had.

Wonderful company makes dinner even better.

Wonderful company makes dinner even better.

I love the food here, I find it really yummy if you have not try this place, please do; i recommend it highly and I don't usually comment nicely on food. Some may think I'm crazy, some may think I'm fussy, some may think I don't know shit about food but every person have different taste. Some may like it spicy, some may like it salty, some may like it sweet; point is everyone likes different things for example durian. Some people love it so much and some can't take the smell.

So don't go all emo when your favorite restaurant/cafe/food is being criticized. If you have so much to say please by all means go write your own blog you can talk about your favorite restaurant/food all the way up to the sky; show the world how much you know about food, share your knowledge with the whole world. I never said I am a food expert, I am merely commenting on the food based on my own preference. I find it frustrating to read about restaurants in blogs, sure it is nice how they use such descriptive words to talk about food and make it sound so good but at the end of it I just want to know whether is it good or not?

I share what I experience first hand on customer service and food; sometimes it could be my unlucky day to get served by an idiot who does not smile or probably he/she thinks I kidnapped his/her dog thus the bad treatment. On another day in the same restaurant, another person could get a completely different treatment. So what I have experienced I comment; if you get a completely different experience than that is yours to share or if you think I am a liar please go ahead. I could easily call other bloggers liars since they describe the food at a certain cafe/restaurant good but when I went there it is horrible. I just think that different people have different taste, no point getting argumentative and defensive. Why need to be defensive if the food is good, other people will vouch for it.
