Tao Chinese Cuisine @ Intercontinental Hotel

Awesome entrance; this way to dim sum people.

Very fancy for a dim sum restaurant.

Carrot Cake ~ Delicious.

Chee Cheong Fun ~ Not bad.

The prawn inside is really good.

Crispy & I love the prawn fillings inside.

Haha!

I didn't get the name of most of the dim sum, Carrie was the one who ordered it. Didn't have time to ask, only had one hour lunch so I thought its best that I get pictures; that's more important. I never fancied dim sum, I find it rather expensive. If the normal coffee shop is expensive, wait till you are here. But I dare say the dim sum is really good; way better than any other places I've tasted and it's not because of the price.

The Good Batch @ Damansara Uptown

Hot Chocolate ~ I like it but not hot enough.

Signature Ice Lemon Tea ~ Why they put a cane in it :P Ee Leong said it was good and asked me to give it a try. I don't drink lemon tea so i'll have to take his word for it.

Californian ~ Ee Leong really loved it that he mentioned a couple of times that the restaurant really know how to choose their ingredients. The cherries was very good, very juicy inside. I gave all of mine to Ee Leong since I don't take it and he liked it soo much. Waste not want not :)

The 'Ang Moh' ~ The name is is something different, cute i would say. Mine was pretty good as well except the beans, I find it bland. The lady was very kind as the set was suppose to come with beef bacon and I don't take beef, she allowed me to exchange it with turkey ham. She did say that it will take a while because mine is special. Of course I'll wait since she catered to my request.

I didn't manage to walk around and take as much pictures as i want, it was full i tell you; every single table. The menu don't have much choice, I'm hoping that will change soon. They serve good food after all, i would like to see what else they can come up with. They sure need more tables looking at the crowd but then again i think those will be occupied too. The price for the breakfast is not cheap but seeing the quality they produced i can understand why. This me allow ;) I hope to come again when it is less crowded to try the other things on the menu.

Reminisce @ Mid Valley Megamall

The same as Kim Gary.

BBQ Taiwan Sausage ~ The best among the other dishes we ordered.

Butter Pork Belly with rice ~ Pork is okay but the hairy stuff on it = yucks. Once you have tasted those good ones in Chinese restaurants you'll know what i mean.

Tomyam Noodle Soup with Seafood ~ I told them to not put prawns and to exchange it with crabstick & squid. Hmm seriously?? What a ripoff and this cost RM 13.90. The noodles & soup taste exactly like the Maggi mee cup.

This is similar to Kim Gary, though I prefer Kim Gary much more. They have more choices of food, generous portion and taste much better. I felt completely rip off; yupe because of the noodles, and I do not like to feel cheated. Thus i will not be returning here.

Lok Yun Chinese Restaurant @ Solaris Mont Kiara

Modern Chinese Dining; Remarkable with light & easy music playing in the background.

Everyone I know seem to be enjoying beer way too much :/

Drinkers :/

Seafood Taufu Soup ~ Very yummy and tasteful; portion is just nice. Too much of something is not good.

Seafood Taufu Soup ~ Very yummy and tasteful; the portion is just nice.

Steamed Egg ~ One of the best steamed eggs I've ever had. Egg is so smooth, not soft taste just right. I love this.

Claypot Mixed Seafood ~ Very good as well, gravy is nice, seafood is fresh and plenty.

Kung Pow Sotong ~ Didn't quite like this, something is missing but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Beer Garden ~ I wonder why they call it the beer garden ;D

It took quite a while for our food to arrive, but when I tasted the food, it certainly make up for the long wait. This is one of the best high end chinese restaurant I've tasted. Price is not cheap but quality is there. Very modern styled restaurant unlike some of the chinese restaurant playing opera songs with their red table clothes. I think this is a good place to have gatherings or even have your wedding dinner. Fancy and food is good.

Kin San Kichi @ Sri Hartamas

I find it cute the way the plates are arranged.

Green Tea ~ Just what I need on a cold night like this.

Chawan Mushi ~ Normal la.

Kakiage: Fried Veges & Seafood ~ No seafood only crabstick.

Chashumen ~ I like how the meat is arranged; that's about it.

Chicken Teppanyaki ~ Didn't like the chicken; the taste/sauce. I didn't feel well that night after eating, my stomach was feeling upset, it has to be the food here because I had pastries at 1pm which long before dinner.

To engross in eating or simply don't allow me to take a picture :/

Winter Lover @ The Strand, Kota Damansara

Fresh Flower Series ~ Not bad but I still prefer Chamomile.

Rasberry Yogurt Mille Crepe & Green Tea Macaroon ~ WJ liked the cake, macaroon is not bad but a little too sweet.

A snapshot before we dig in :)

Trio Chocolate Mille Crepe & Iris Chocolate Macaroon ~ I love this, not sweet at all; though consist of dark chocolate i did not taste any bitterness; texture of cake is firm. Just perfect! Macaroon is good also.

A snapshot before we dig in :)

Living Social is having an offer currently: RM 12 for RM 20 worth of pastries or at RM 20 for RM 40 worth. We bought the RM 20, which is not enough; we exceeded the amount but it was worth it. I think the voucher is still selling. Get it and have a go in Winter Lover for half the price.
