Munich @ Germany [Part 2]

Heading to Andechs Monastery for pork knuckles & beer. Yupe the monastery is serving meat & alcohol ;) You'll have to be very careful as the bus here only leaves at certain times on certain days. Better check the schedule before you head here.

Smoking & drinking is what he live for ;)

Looking for the restaurant. Where is it hiding?

That's not dandruff, it's snowing :)

Spectacular view at the top.

The hunt continues.

Down we go.

And up we go.

Walked into a church.

Model of the monastery.

Andechser Braustuberl.

This potatoes are damn good but i don't know what they are called.

Pork Knuckles ~ Huge but nothing special.

Very yummy water but only 250ml. Here they sell it cheap only 1.80 @ La Trappe Cafe, Andechs Monastery.

Tiramisu Cake ~ Very good, just enough taste of rum but not too strong.

Breathtaking view from the cafe.

Feels like Christmas.

I prefer the Caramel Macchiato back in Malaysia.

Checking out the supermarket. Wide selection of wines.

Ooo never seen a triangle Toblerone before.

Recycle your bottle here.

Get a receipt for €0.25, head over to the counter at the supermarket and they hand you back €0.25 for real. Btw the machine's at Central Station not sure if other places have it.

Rested for 10 minutes before heading to BMW Plant. No drinks/food/camera/mobile phones allowed in there. BTW those 2 bottle of water cost me RM35 @_@.

Walking back to BMW Welt for the last tour which we skipped since we explored everything earlier.

Olympiapark.

Heading to the Rolls Royce showroom.

Reminds me of the tunnel of the snake ride at Sunway Lagoon. You know the one where you go all the way up into a dark tunnel then fall straight down and get all wet.

Next stop where to? I feel like Columbus travelling everywhere by foot. I have walked, took the bus & train more than my entire lifetime in Malaysia. LOL.

Paulaner Brauhaus @ Kapuzinerplatz.

Brauhaus Weibe: A beer refreshing like the river that runs through the city ~ Very refreshing indeed.

They brew their beer here.

Uncle insisted that we took a picture with his leng lui daughter.

Smarty pants got hungry and started nibbling one of the pretzel in the basket. He thought it was free, turns out its not. It costs 3.30. He said should have ta paued the whole basket back then (he touched only half of the pretzel & theres 3 to 4 inside). HAHA.

He's not going to budge until you excite him with money :)

Residenz Palace @ Max-Joseph-Platz.

Exploring Central Station on my own while he went to fulfill his dream of a football fan at the Allianz Stadium. I wanted to be macho, take the train and visit Isar Lake but i could not even find my way back 2 stations to Central. Epic failure :(

Munchner Zuckerl @ Central Station. Sweet fangs coming out :D

Straciatella:  Vanilla ice cream with chocolate streaks ~ Not bad a little too sweet.

Le Crobag @ Central Station ~ The bread hardnya. I can use it to whack the table and it goes tong tong tong -.-".

Rubenbauer Gaststaetten @ Central Station.

1/2 Chicken priced at 3.99 @ Rubenbauer Gaststaetten.
Chicken is tender, nice but skin is too salty.

Massive selection of pizzas.

Pizza with bacon & mushrooms ~ Lousy plus service sucks too. He took a long time before attending to me and he look like i owed him money.

Pork Ribs ~ Very lousy. Very dry, hard and only bones.

Augustiner-Keller @ Arnulfstrasse.

One last selfie before heading back to Msia.

Gorgeous view :)

Bahammm. I like airplane food. Did i mention i find it interesting.

Trip overall was very good. Munich is very beautiful especially the buildings and the scenery. I am very thankful to be given a chance to experience this. This trip has also reminded me of how much i miss Malaysian food. In Germany, there's only sausages, beer, ham, tough bread. In Malaysia you have so many vareity of food; roti canai, teh tarik, nasi lemak, wan tan mee, pan mee, asam laksa & etc etc etc. I feel hungry thinking about all the food.

TO BE CONTINUED ~ PRAGUE!
