Hot Genmai (RM 1.99) ~ Eiii how come no water wan??

So cool, the dispenser is against the table wall.

Need to press slightly hard.

Sakae Chawanmushi (RM 3.99) ~ Affordable & yummy.

Red Plate from the conveyor (RM 4.99) ~ Yummy, sauce is good.

Salmon Sashimi (RM 12.99) ~ Okay, not as fresh & big as the one served in Robata Monkey.

Chicken Teriyaki Ramen (RM 14.99) ~ Not bad.

Shiro Maguro Teriyaki (RM 14.99) ~ Teriyaki sauce is okay, not the best I had. Fish is very chewy.

Matcha Ice Cream (RM 6.99) ~ Not bad.

Jiro Shabu @ Taipan USJ

Bloopp blooopp....

Sauce Station.

Price of items on the conveyor belt depends on color.

Sauce is served to you, too salty.

Kombu Dashi Soup Base (Complimentary with Pork Shabu Set) ~ Soup is bland.

Miso Soup Base (RM 5) ~ Soup has more taste than Kombu Dashi.

Pork Shabu Set (RM 19.90) ~ Portion is quite small, pork slices are very thin and the bowl are stuff are veggies. So only the mee makes you full.

Pork slices are really thin.

Only veggies.

Udon Noodles (RM 2.90).

Premium Crabstick (RM 3.90) ~ This I like premium at an affordable price.

Egg Tofu (RM 2.90).

Complimentary, served at the end of your meal. Very sour at first but it gets better.

Complimentary Watermelon, served at the end of your meal. Has the medicine smell and taste.

If you order Ala-Carte, soup base is charged at RM5 per pot regardless of how many Ala-Carte items you order. Unlike at 100 Degree Steamboat whose soup base is complimentary if you order 3 items or more. Unfortunately 100 Degree has already closed.

Gyu-Kaku Revisit @ Tropicana City Mall

Green Tea (Comp) / Sweet & Sour Sauce / Spicy Sauce.

Chazuke Sake (RM 10.90): Rice in soup topped with Salmon ~ I actually ordered Mentaiko which is cod roe. Soup is almost tasteless, had to add salt & pepper.

Whole Squid Grill (RM 14.90).

Lamb Neck with Basil (RM 15.90).

Cooking tools.

Lamb is kinda thin so the first batch was overcooked. We were smarter in cooking the 2nd batch. Baby liked the lamb.

Not very easy to cook as the squid tends to stick to the grill.

Not bad but it's kinda dry so had to eat with the sauce.

Sumi-Ka Yakitori @ SS15

Prepare yourself CASH only.

He's doing all the BBQing.

Green Tea (RM 3).

Comp Cabbage Salad ~ Cabbage is good, I like the sauce that they use. The carrots, cucumbers & radish are too sour.

Enokimaki (RM 7): Pork Slice with Enoki Mushroom ~ Okay.

Ika (RM 6): Squid ~ Sad looking squid but not too bad.

Mochimaki (RM 6 ech): Pork Slice with Rice Cake ~ Normal, rice cake is tasteless.

Negima (RM 5 ech): Thigh with Green Onion ~ Not bad.

Onigiri Salmon (RM 5) ~ Like eating plain rice with little salmon.

What salmon?

Sumi-Ka has limited tables so make a reservation or you may walk in and wait for an empty seat to open up. I wasn't at all satisfied with the meal, it's expensive and very small portioned so overall bad value for money. I didn't saw this but baby told me he saw the chef using the tongs to handle the food and to take charcoal. That's so unsanitary. By the way if you are wondering what are tongs, it's as below:

We were still hungry so we stopped by the SS15 Lok Lok cart.

I would much rather pay to eat this than what I had just now. This may look simple but much more satisfying. Have you tried their BBQ bacon, OMG too die for. I'll take a picture next time. I usually eat at the Lok Lok cart in Taipan USJ, I have to point out that this Lok Lok cart (SS15) is very unhygienic. He used the water that was dripping from the cart into that blue container to wipe the sauce area. Also while we were taking food a cockroach were squirming to get below the food area. We immediately notified the guy, he took some soup and poured on the cockroach which fell and ran onto the road. Of course we know that some businesses don't have clean food preparations but please don't let me see it.
