Getting ready for my VDay's dinner with Ms D.

Alamak went into the wrong parking, expensive. Cry :(

  Funghi Misti ~ This pizza is awesome, the pizza crust is just crispy enough, the mushroom is delicious. I finished half of the pizza :), i usually only can eat 2 piece.

We waited quite a while for my order, some of the tables who came before us have not been served, Donna was lucky to get her pizza before the others. Bad management, cups and plates were also piled up on the counter not a pretty sight. After waiting almost 20 minutes I asked for my order, the waiter went to check and came back and asked what did i order? Alamak im dead hungry. I placed my order again. Wait some more then my food came.

   Fisherman's Catch ~ This really makes up for the wait, the seafood in flour tasted super good. The fish, the shrimp everything good la. Usually this kind of tempura you can taste the horrible flour taste, or it is too dry but this fisherman's catch is BEST!

Wondermama @ Bangsar Village I

Tonight will be meeting up with Amy them to have dinner at Wondermama. When Pui Fun suggested to eat at Wondermama, I was like wert!!! What on earth is that!!! A place where you drink milk! HAHAHAHA! Sorry had too much sugar acting a lil weird.

       Nasi Lemak 2.0 ~ This nasi lemak is also to die for, if anyone is on diet this is 

                                       definitely not the place to come. 

                  Curry Laksa ~ This is super good, i cleaned the whole bowl.

Cheesy Ham / Chocolate Crunch ~ I like my cheesy ham alot, really good and the waffle just crispy enough. Gin said that the chocolate crunch biasa only.

Scallop-Q @ Berjaya Times Square

There a is a whole stretch of kiosk of FOOD on the 3rd floor at Times Square, we decided to pick a few and try. First up Scallop-Q.

A drink named Steady ~ Surprisingly really good. I couldnt stop drinking once i started.

Look at all the scallops. SLURP!

 Scallop Q Special flavour / Special Mix / Barbeque Bonto ~ Expensive RM 5.90 for 4 scallops BUT it is really good. Gin & me couldnt stop eating and had to order extra. All 3 flavours that we tried are good. We had to leave to the next kiosk before we go poh kai from eating scallops. 

Thumbs up for u little scallops :)

The counter is cramp, and im loaded with bags from all the shopping, so i found a new way to utilize my leg ;)

Les Deux Garcons @ Bangsar

A small cake shop, located opposite Bangsar Village I beside the mamak whose name i cannot remember. Let me warn you first the price of the things in this shop is not cheap. It cost me RM 50+ for 2 cakes and 5 macaroons. I do not mind paying but the food has to be good. Read below for my review on them:

  The cakes all lying there and calling my name Caryn Caryn eat me eat me... All look very tempting. I just feel like ordering all of it.

Earl Grey is the nicest among all of them, the others are too sweet or too creamy. Wasabi would be good for people who like wasabi. I do not eat wasabi, the smell just went all the way up my nose but it is not as strong as the wasabi in Japanese restaurant.

  Le Voltaire ~ Layers of chocolate sponge, cho creameux, ganache cho joconde, and cho mousse, fenced with cho pieces. I do not like it at all as i can only taste the bitter dark chocolate. AND i do not like bitter.

La Duchesse ~ Earl Grey biscuits tender, milk chocolate and Earl Grey creameux. The picture looked nicer than how it tasted. The Earl Grey smell and taste was strong come together with the chocolate tasted funny. It is like I was eating cake laced with Softlan.

Of course all CNY dinner requires the Yee Sang, my least favorite dish. If not because the Yee Sang promises abundance of wealth and luck, i will not spend a single cent on it. 

Here we go, LOU LOU LOU, LOU HIGH HIGH! The higher u go more more luck and wealth!

Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab in Money Bag ~ In this restaurant the soft shell really means soft shell, you could just eat the whole crab without worrying about biting into something hard. The crab in the mantao was superb, i never tasted soft shell crab this good before.

Teapot Chicken Soup ~ A unique way of serving soup, certainly beats the normal cina bowl, there is also a piece of ginger in the serving cup. This soup is is is GOOOOOD! I never tasted any chicken soup this yummy before, not to mention the way the soup is serve definitely scored extra points.

Braised Whole Abalone with Gluten in Foil ~ I never liked abalone, yeah i know i am the only idiot in this world who does not share the joy of abalone like the rest of the world. This abalone makes you begging for more, the gravy is awesome and the abalone texture is just nice, not too soft not too hard.

Deep Fried Spareribs with Shrimp Paste ~ After all the dishes you would have expected this to be good to unfortunately the spareribs is louzy, its was dry and hard. 

Fried Rice with Roasted Pork ~ This is also another disappointment, very biasa fried rice. I can find better fried rice at the tai chao shop.

Chilled Sago with Mango Cream.

Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf @ Bangsar Village

Hot Chocolate ~ This is bad.

   Sweet Carrot Bacon Soup ~ The soup came to me cold but the tiny bacon in it is nice.

 Sauteed Garlic Mushroom ~ Completely tasteless, how can someone cook this badly. All i taste is oil.

 The Wolf's Favorite Pasta ~ This is good, after the bad drink and starter i would assume that the main dish would be bad too.

   Pork Ribs ~ Yum yum this is good, the ribs is covered with the sauce, the meat is tender and juicy. Soo good i can eat it all night long. Another place for good pork ribs is Chicago in One Utama.
