Yuzu Japanese Restaurant @ The Gardens Mall

Our quiet spot :) Nice now I can pichas all I want.

Alamak what is this? I don't want to eat my feets name :D

Chawan Mushi ~ Biasa la, I prefer the one at Teppanyaki for some reason.
Dobin Mushi: Teapot Soup with chicken and vegetables ~ Mild chicken soup, not user friendly; hard to scoop the stuff out and can't pour it out too.

Negima: BBQ skewered chicken with leek ~ Mmm chicken not tender enough.

Hokkaido Ika Goroyaki: Saute Hokkaido squid with chef sauce ~ This is awesome, too bad the portion is small, I would love to keep chomping on it.

Tai Nabe Udon: Thick wheat noodles with snapper fish, seaweed laver and straw mushroom in clear soup ~ Soup is tasty, noodles are soft. One of the best udon i've had.

Gindara Teriyaki: Oven grilled black cod fish with teriyaki sauce ~ Cod fish is so tender but sauce is too thick. I prefer the Gindara Teriyaki at Kampachi.

Saba Kuwayaki Set: Braised deep fried mackerel fish ~ This is tasty and good as well.

Kampachi @ Pavilion KL

Chawan Mushi ~ Taste just right but a little too wobbly/soft.

Gindara Teriyaki ~ The cod fish is absolutely delicious, firm yet soft and very tasteful.

Gindara Teriyaki ~ The cod fish is absolutely delicious, firm yet soft and very tasteful.

Chirashi Don ~ Yucks cat food :/ I can't seem to take sashimi, and I wonder why people like it so much. I tried it once and I spat it out immediately. The smell reminds me of the can of cat food I opened earlier in the afternoon to feed the stray cats.

Matcha Ice Cream & Azuki ~ I didn't know they charge me for that speck of red bean. It usually comes together with green tea ice cream. Ice cream doesn't quite have the green tea taste that I like and the red bean is too sticky.

I was really looking forward to eating here because I remember the previous time I was here the food tasted so good. I guess the cod fish makes up for it but not the ice cream and the chawan mushi was wobbly, I like those texture where it is perfect and not watery/wobbly. Overall I am still satisfied, cod fish is really good :)

After that we head over to redeem free ice cream at Baskin Robbin before heading for our movie.

Thank you Mr Chai for giving me the voucher :)

World Class Chocolate & Oreo Cookies and Cream ~ Mmm the oreo was rather lousy, the chocolate just normal. I think Baskin Robbin is overrated just like Haagen Daaz. The Cream & Fudge Factory is way way better.

Le Lapin Cafe @ Taman Danau Desa

Easy to miss, look out for the pink gift shop.

 Snuggy little cafe.

I would like to sit here but the sun was glaring at my face.

Reading materials provided but i don't read Chinese. Luckily i brought my own newspaper.

Cafe Au Lait ~ Andrew said it was okay la.

Le Lapin Coffee Ice Cube ~ I love this, the coffee comes in heart shape cubes, milk, sugar syrup and cookie :) Very unique.

Pour the milk and watch the cubes melt, add a lil syrup. The coffee is damn good, though I would prefer more milk ;) I asked for extra the owner wanted to charge me RM 7 for 250ml. I only wanted a lil more so no point buying.

Croissant ~ Not bad but for some reason when I'm done i was feeling really stuffed; not the good kind. I remember I had 2 croissants at Butter & Beans, it was better but I have already boycott Butter & Beans. It's not I can't afford the butter, I just don't like getting charged for things that I think should be complimentary.

Scone ~ So this is a scone; crumbly. Not too shabby, would prefer if the cream is less sweet as the scone is already sweet. I am already feeling nauseous from eating the croissant.

I wanted to try the other food but there was no water supply at the cafe therefore the lady couldn't prepare. However I did see a few patrons having salad. Yaiks, imagine no water. Eww I don't want to know. I'll have to come back again, I sure don't mind if I get to drink the LL Coffee Cubes again :)

Restoran 88 @ Jalan Kuchai Lama

What's this?? OOo it's rice.. Did they wash this :/

Fried Lotus Root ~ Too oily.

Siew Pak Choy ~ So so.

Oats Fried Sotong ~ I don't eat oats but in this case, me likey :) It's surprisingly good. Make sure you eat the oats with the sotong else it will just taste like plain oats.

Nyonya Fish Slices ~ Fish fresh but lack of the nyonya taste. It might look like the fish is filled with taste from the gravy but it's not. Only slightly flavored.

The aunty that took our order was like a walking menu board, she was saying the different dishes so fluently that at the end of it i was huh??? Say again.. So the above food I might not name it correctly ;)

Bad Boy Cooks @ Oasis Damansara

    Cappuccino ~ Needs more milk.

Bad Boy Chowder ~ Not too shabby, smell a lil fishy though.

BB Dog ~ Not too shabby also but they should have used button mushroom. I don't like oyster mushroom has a kind of fishy smell...

The food/beverage price are really reasonable so I guess one cant complaint too much. I dislike one thing though; the staff. Their facial expression is is is like sai, or forced to serve you. While i was eating two of them leaned on my chair, it's okay to lean but the problem is my chair kept moving forward. Damn irritating...

Amarin Heavenly Thai @ Mid Valley Megamall

This is more like a coffee shop, it was so noisy.

Thai LemonGrass Juice ~ The lemon grass taste was like quite there but not quite there. Once the ice melted I could barely taste it. You should try the lemon grass at Neo Tamarind, it's damn good.

     Lime Juice.

Yam Pla Duk Foo:  Thai Mango Salad with Crispy Catfish ~ Fei Yan said it was okay. I didn't had it cause I'm not a fan of mango :/

Tom Yam Morfai Firepot with Seafood ~ Lousy. Tom Yam was too sour and salty and not enough spicy.

Pla Meak Yang:  BBQ Squid served with Thai Seafood Sauce ~ This is really good, squid is fresh and chewy and it goes so well with the sauce. Sauce is really good.

Phad Pak Bung Ga Pi: Stir fried Kangkung with Belacan ~ Good as well but a little too soggy.

Khow Phad Goong: Fried Rice with Crab Meat served with Chicken Drumstick ~ Fried rice is biasa, I did not taste any crab meat; chicken is good though.

Napkin & Toothpicks ~ To dig and wipe your teeth :/ Yuck. It disgust me how some people use toothpick to dig their teeth at their table. Hello have some manners la. You wouldn't want me clipping my toes in front of you right at the dinner table some more.
