Kay Cafe & Restaurant @ Tropicana City Mall

Latte ~ Needs more more milk.

Rice ~ Just right, soft and not too dry.

Japanese Seafood Soup ~ Taste like normal cina not enough ikan bilis soup, almost tasteless. Nothing Japanese about this.

Sorry about the limited pictures, Donna, Liong & Aaron ate already because they were hungry waiting for me :/ For me the restaurant's ambiance is nicer than how the food taste. They have many variety of food, I haven't had the chance to try them all except the above which ain't to good.

Epiphany Coffee & Tobacco @ Oasis Damansara

Provided reading materials, awesome now I don't have to carry around my newspaper like auntie ;)

My light reading ;)

Hazelnut Latte ~ Perfect.

Cappuccino ~ I asked the guy for one shot as I hate strong coffee, he said sure I'll make it one shot. I asked for milk since it's still too strong for me, after adding milk it was perfect. I was embarrassed because he came over to ask was the coffee too strong? I said yeah but after adding the milk it was fine. He suggested me having hot chocolate if I dislike coffee. I told him the only reason i order coffee was because of the art :D He said yeah we can do art on chocolate too.
I said seriously?? The other cafes I've been to said only coffee they can do. He said depends on places but here he can do it for me. I said oh man!

New York Cheesecake ~ Not too shabby.

He brought water around for everyone to wash down potential coffee breath ~ awesome!

The cafe is cozy, comes with reading material should you feel your coffee is not a good enough company, and also friendly staff with good service. I dare say this is a great chilling spot. I am amazed because he actually noticed and took the time to come over to ask me about the coffee seeing how I asked for milk; not only that he explained about the different beans and chocolate using powder and all. Later he went around handing water to customers without any extra charge. This is what I call superb service. Thumbs up Epiphany!

Dip 'N Dip @ Bangsar

I have tried getting entry to this place more than 3 times, every time i am here it is always crowded, full and nobody wants to budge. I tried my luck again during the Raya and guess what one table staring at me :) Finally! Let's see what is so good about this place that justifies the full house.

Cappuccino ~ I don't like the beans they used, coffee tasted odd. Tasted like I'm drinking some weird concoction (coffee + milo + tea + spice). Maybe i'm not use to the beans.

Milk & Tesco sugar :D

Irish Coffee ~ I asked Donna if it was only me, she agreed that the coffee did taste funny. So it's not only me.

Waffle Stick ~ This is good, waffle is crispy even though covered with warm chocolate. How they do that?

Fondant ~ Not really good, inside the cake is filled with chocolate sauce, which is too much for my liking and also the ice cream is not enough. The ice cream really helps to neutralize the thickness.

After all that, I don't see what is the crowd, I only liked 1 thing out of all the things that we ordered. But then again different people have different taste and preference.

Fatty Crab @ Taman Megah

I have been visiting Fatty Crab ever since I could remember; I practically grew up eating Fatty Crab, one of the reasons why I love it so much no matter the queue and price.

See what I mean. I been with them every step of the way :)

Chicken Wings ~ This is a must to order, don't waste your time on the satay cause its crap. I can eat 10 of these. Just so darn good. Skin is crispy and tasty, flesh is tender, makes you keep wanting more.

Fried Rice ~ Just nice. It even has tiny little shrimp to add flavor.

Toasted Bread ~ This is also a must, order a few first because it gets cold pretty fast. Dip in the sauce. OH MY GOODNESS, i can see stars :)

Sweet & Sour Crab ~ This is the crabbie that I have been queuing an hour for. Fleshy and juicy, combined with the gravy; I feel like I am already in heaven.
PS:  I actually cleaned the plate :)

The rebel, the blonde and the "in between" ...... :D

I never get bored of coming here to queue just to eat the crab and chicken wings. For me good food deserves my patience. I would rather wait an hour to eat something good that I will remember have good memories of it than not wait and eat something lesser. By the way Fatty Crab only accepts cash. If you did not know this and walked in unexpectedly RHB is just behind. And no Fatty Crab did not give me any incentive to sweet talk about them; I still have to queue up and pay like any other person.

Twenty One Kitchen + Bar @ Changkat, Bukit Bintang

Ms D is here for the weekend so I have to bring her jalan jalan and makan.

She could never keep her eyes on the camera, her eyes are busy wandering checking out "people" that walked pass.

Passion Martini ~ Donna said this was yummy.

Curry Mee ~ I tried the spaghetti before it was really good, so Im trying something different even though you can get this at the food court. Curry mee was really thick and good, toppings generous :)  But i didn't like the shredded chicken, too soft.

Plain salt, Ginger Salt & Blueberry salt for the fishy.

Seabass ~ Fish was a little dry.

Chocolate Molten ~ Chocolate was too thick and not enough of ice cream to go with the cake.

My first experience with the food at BSC was much better, i could just remember how good the spaghetti, mushroom soup and Tiramisu was. But nevertheless I shall return again to try something else instead.

Austin Chase @ First Subang

Croissant ~ One word STALE! The croissant was heated up, supposedly crispy but it was hard and felt like eating rubber.

Green Tea Cake ~ It is to assume that this cake has been left in the freezer for a couple of days. The cake really dry and the red bean sour

Really bad food and cakes are usually suppose to be friendly. Lucky I didn't land myself in the hospital for bad food. I am never coming back here again.

D' Eralia @ The Scott Garden

Was just walking around then I noticed a new new ice cream stall, either that or I have only eyes on Chatime.

 They have the scoop type.

And the popsicle type, they have chocolate, strawberry, coffee and milk flavor  Pick the design you like. According to the guy he said you can draw your own popsicle but that is only available at Asia Cafe.

Milk with Half Dipping Chocolate ~ Pretty good and price is also decent RM 3.50.

Neo Tamarind @ Jalan Sultan Ismail

I've been searching for so many restaurants to bring Mel Mel but most of them close on Sunday. Stupid right!!! So this is kind off a last min thing and it turned out to be good.

 Im dressed for dinner :)

Plenty of parking below the restaurant and it's cheap. RM 4 only.

       Turn right!

Some people had to take a quick smoke.

  Super clean kitchen.

I like how blue lights brings the place to life.

     Our space :)

We are actually on the cliff. Scary!

Complimentary Lemongrass Juice ~ It's so good, I ask for refill twice.

He forced me to buy a glass because I was asking too many times refill. Ish!

Pellegrino ~ Some people thought this was distilled water.

Too bad I can't return it.

Amuse Bouche ~ Fresh and very tasteful.

Complimentary Bread with Tomato Salsa & Eggplant ~ The bread is so soft and good that I can eat it just like that :)

Lobster Bisque ~ Bisque was creamy and good; lobster super fresh and very friendly. That lobster is too tiny. I want more!!!!

Scallop Carpaccio ~ Scallop cooked in spicy & sour sauce; scallop was fresh, soft but not raw and goes so well with the sauce.

Smoked Duck Pizza ~ Duck meat was tender, pizza was good, only the crust was a little burned.

Firewood Oven Roasted Chicken ~ This is one expensive chicken but worth it. Even without gravy chicken was juicy, tender and nice. The gravy wasn't that good though.

Jade Green Tea ~ I mix the green tea with the whipped cream, NICE! The other dessert was like hard chunchy sugar and melted green tea inside. The top coat was good.

        It's more like my birthday.

One last picha before I sleep. Work again tomorrow, sienzzz!

The dinner was not cheap but the food was really good; money well spent :) I like the ambiance, it's modern and lightings are cool. There are plenty of space in there so there is no need to make reservation. I'm surprised that it is not crowded seeing how the food is so good. I'm glad I came here even though I was skeptical since I went to Tamarind Springs in Ampang and the food was normal.
