Nagomi Chinese Cuisine Revisit @ SS15

We waited quite a bit before we got our food. Usually when I'm there there's barely any customers, but today the restaurant is full. Probably that's why they are slower because they are overwhelmed by the numbers. I'm okay with it I'm happy that their restaurant is filled with customers. They don't charge government and service tax, they serve free chinese tea and you may help yourself to a cup of coffee/milo and best of all I love their food. Chef is cute too ;)

Got myself a free milo.

Stir Fried Bok Choy with Garlic (RM 10) ~ Nice.

Soup Ramen with Sliced Roasted Pork and Vegetables (RM 14) ~ Nice.

Shanghai-Style Fried Noodles (RM 14) ~ Nice.

Rice with Stir-Fried Vegetables, Seafoods and Meats (RM 10) ~ Not bad.

Szechuan Stir Fried Tofu in Hot Sauce (RM 12) ~ Okay only.

Stir-Fried Chicken with String Beans in Black Bean Sauce (RM 16) ~ Chicken is very tender and flavorful. Yummy.

Stir-Fried Shrimp & Squid with Black Pepper Sauce (RM 28) ~ Okay only. Squid and shrimp given are not so generous.

The Crusty Nest @ SS15

Paper cup has a very strong cardboard smell.

The Wedding Cheesecake (RM 12) ~ Not to both our liking but texture is good.

There's not much choice, was thinking for quite a while before deciding on what to order. I saw the cheesecake and asked what was contained in the wedding cheese cake, I heard cheese. But when I tasted it, it's strawberry & orange, EEEEKKKKK 2 things I dislike the most. Baby refused to help me finish it so I had to force myself slowly to finish it. Have you tried eating food that you don't like, the agony and you keep trying to drink water to swallow it??? Imagine you hate broccoli and you had to eat it because your mom made you, a whole plate of it. Maybe you guys would prefer the cheese cake if you love Strawberry

One of the owners came over to check on us, and ask how is the cake. Baby told him that I heard wrongly and didn't know it's Strawberry which I don't eat (But I tasted Orange too). Then he asked me what do I eat? I said probably chocolate, then I realize that he is about to go and get a chocolate tart for me, so I said no no it's okay it's fine. But he came back with one anyways and explained that unfinished items at the end of the day gets thrown out so it's fine to give me.

Chocolate Tart Comp ~ Okay, normal.

I really appreciate his gesture, the tart may be normal, and the cheese cake may not be nice to me but his gesture is what matters the most to me. I know that restaurants/cafe throws out unfinished pastries/dessert at the end of the night but how many of them would actually offer it complimentary to someone who is not enjoying what they ordered, they would rather toss it away or keep it for the next day and hopefully you don't notice it's overnight food.

Beside is Nagomi Chinese Cuisine who serves yummy food, I go there for lunch/dinner, after I'm done just walk next door to Crusty Nest for tea/pastries :)

Gold Chili Seafood Restaurant @ SS15

Teh Oh Ais (RM 1.80) ~ Plain water add little bit of tea and lotsss of sugar.

Boneless Butter Chicken (RM 11.50) ~ I'm not sure how to explain but the chicken tastes artificial, rubbery, chewy. As for the sauce I had better, Tak Fok butter crab. OMG their sauce droooooollllll......

Grilled Sotong (RM 11) ~ Had to wait 20 minutes for this.

They should call this dish Sambal Bendis / Ladys Finger, because there is toooooo little sotong. Sotong is cut so thinly that there is barely any taste but the sambal is good.

Sumi-Ka Yakitori @ SS15

Prepare yourself CASH only.

He's doing all the BBQing.

Green Tea (RM 3).

Comp Cabbage Salad ~ Cabbage is good, I like the sauce that they use. The carrots, cucumbers & radish are too sour.

Enokimaki (RM 7): Pork Slice with Enoki Mushroom ~ Okay.

Ika (RM 6): Squid ~ Sad looking squid but not too bad.

Mochimaki (RM 6 ech): Pork Slice with Rice Cake ~ Normal, rice cake is tasteless.

Negima (RM 5 ech): Thigh with Green Onion ~ Not bad.

Onigiri Salmon (RM 5) ~ Like eating plain rice with little salmon.

What salmon?

Sumi-Ka has limited tables so make a reservation or you may walk in and wait for an empty seat to open up. I wasn't at all satisfied with the meal, it's expensive and very small portioned so overall bad value for money. I didn't saw this but baby told me he saw the chef using the tongs to handle the food and to take charcoal. That's so unsanitary. By the way if you are wondering what are tongs, it's as below:

We were still hungry so we stopped by the SS15 Lok Lok cart.

I would much rather pay to eat this than what I had just now. This may look simple but much more satisfying. Have you tried their BBQ bacon, OMG too die for. I'll take a picture next time. I usually eat at the Lok Lok cart in Taipan USJ, I have to point out that this Lok Lok cart (SS15) is very unhygienic. He used the water that was dripping from the cart into that blue container to wipe the sauce area. Also while we were taking food a cockroach were squirming to get below the food area. We immediately notified the guy, he took some soup and poured on the cockroach which fell and ran onto the road. Of course we know that some businesses don't have clean food preparations but please don't let me see it.

Nagomi Chinese Cuisine @ SS15

Found a new place to eat :)

I actually went and remove all the stuff on top so I can get the tissue at the bottom. Then I realize the drawer is opened from the side. OMG so stupid me.

Comp Chinese Tea.

Sliced Pork with Mixed Vegetables Soup Ramen (RM 12) ~ Ingredients are generous, even had 2 pieces of scallop. Soup is delicious and noodles are good. Best soup noodles I ever had. Thumbs up :)

Slurping happily :)

Stir-fried Chicken with Garlic Shoots in Black Bean Sauce Rice Set (RM 16) ~ Chicken is tender & yummy. Soup is slightly bland, cauliflower okay, pudding is nice but need to eat with the sauce on top.

I like my noodles, and Baby like his chicken. We will be coming back to try more of their food. Price is reasonable for the generous amount of ingredients given and taste yummy toy. Best of all no tax or any kinds of charges and complimentary tea :)
