Daging Maut ~ So this is how death looks like ;) Gravy is good but super spicy, even I sweat after eating; beef is a lil tough. I would love to eat the gravy with ketupat but tak ada :/

Kim Chi Fried Rice ~ This is very good but kim chi a lil too sour.

 

CPK ordered Chee Cheong Fun from the food court.

Chee Cheong Fun ~ Not bad but expensive. Luckily we came during lunch time; the lunch set is really affordable RM 8.90 for all that.

I could not find the shop so I called them; they weren't really helpful in directing me. The voice on the other end makes you want to slap him when you see him. When I finally found the place, they couldn't really speak English. Another annoying thing is that there are no chairs you'll have to bring your food and have it in the food court. It's only for take away here; they could have at least place a few high chairs and allow people to eat at the counter. But despite all that the food was good.

Sang Mewah Restaurant @ Taman Desa

Crab Meat & Fish Floats & Tofu Soup ~ Nice but I still prefer the tofu soup at Bliss. The portion is generous.

Kangkung Belacan ~Nice and not too spicy.

Curry Fish Head ~ This is gooood!

Im curious why a malay name but serves chinese food. Hmmm...

   Four Deluxe Combination Platter ~ Oo i love the meat standing highest of them all though I'm not quite sure what I ate. It was really good :D

Japanese Scallop & Fish Maw Braised Sharkbone Soup ~ Very thick but a lil too sweet. I don't agree with this dish as it uses sharkbone.

Yay they made a tiny bowl of steamed egg just for me. Thank u :)

Marinated Roasted Chicken with Garlic ~ Not bad, a tad dry.

Soya Steamed Tiger Grouper Fish ~ Not bad but the flesh is a lil rubbery. 

Scallop, Ebiko, Abalone Braised Charcoal Beancurd with Abalone Sauce ~ Scallop was really good but I didn't like the beancurd, tasted weird - burned/charcoal.

Creamy Salted Egg Prawn ~ I like salted egg and prawns are fresh.

Broccoli Mix Vege ~ Nothing special.

  Scallop, Prawn, Squid fried rice with XO sauce ~ Too spicy; taste like fried rice with chili powder.

  Mango, Strawberry & Honeydew Dessert ~ This is awesome, have it together with the salt on the glass. NICE!

The food is not bad considering that they had to rush to serve so many dishes. Sit and enjoy the food at the restaurant, let the chef slowly cook and prepare each dish for you. Take your time to savor the dishes. Thank you Adrian for having me here to celebrate your birthday. I consider it an honor to be invited.

Sounds fancy eii having high tea in a hotel, what more a 5 star hotel. Lets see if the high tea can measure up to the 5 star standard.

The lounge is so pretty.

Boh Tea ~ Hmm thats normal...

High Tea Set: Salmon sandwich, egg sandwich, scones with jam and cream, sardine puff, fruit tarlet, financier, and opera cake ~ All taste like crap except for the egg sandwich. For a 5 star hotel I expected much better food than this. 

At least it's a nice place to take pictures.

Disappointed: Not what I expected from a 5 star hotel. Food and service is lousy. Waitresses were okay but the bartender has no sense of customer service at all. I raised my hand a couple of times though he saw he did not come over to assist or ask someone else to. Useless! As for the food that comes in the high tea set sangat the horrible and tak sedaps (not nice at all)!
