Kim Gary @ Sunway Pyramid

It's Cheng's birthday today, he arrived from Kathmandu at about 7pm. I wanted to take him somewhere nice for dinner but knowing him... He cancelled dinner so I headed home, he called at about 10pm ask to go for supper. We went to Kim Gary, I didn't spend him because I was out of cash and they don't accept card. Birthday boy had to pay himself. Heheeee.

I'm amazed at Kim Gary's menu, look at the variety. It always takes me a while to decide what to eat, everything just looks so good and I only have one stomach :/

Cheese Baked Spaghetti ~ Something about the sauce; nice and the corn i like, i cleaned Cheng's leftovers :D

Green Tea Snow Series ~ Green tea tasted artificial but i like the cincau.

The Journey Cafe @ SetiaWalk

We were walking around looking for a place to chill, we found this snug cafe hidden in one of the blocks. Only 2 weeks old, they are giving 15% off all food and drinks and you get scoop free ice cream but I cant remember when was the promotion until?

Journey to the end of the world :) Are you up for it?

Latte ~ Not enough milk, I added 1 cup but still not enough :/

Shrimp Bruschetta ~ After removing the scary lettuce and tomatos I can eat in peace :) Shrimp is fresh and good.

Spicy Chicken Drummettes ~ Nothing special, fried chicken with chili.

White Chocolate ~ Cake is too sweet and thick :(

Green Tea ~ One free scoop with topping. Green tea is nice and not because it's free ;)

I notice that the lady boss looks really familiar but I can't seem to recall who she is? I was fighting with my brains to ask her or not to ask her? Finally I stood up and went to her and asked if she used to study in SMKSJ she said yes. Then i mumbled Esther Lim, she said Esther Ng. I said do you know who I am; she said Caryn Lee, I said haha wrong looks like we both got the surnames wrong.

The cafe belongs to her husband who is doing this as a side thing and shes there to help; she's my age and married?? Yaiks! I haven't even got a boyfriend, talk about marrying.. Way too early. . .

Padi House @ SetiaWalk

 We sat upstairs :)

Green Tea Latte ~ Nice, i like the cookies too :)

Cappuccino ~ Coffee was too strong, I asked the worker for milk; I looked like an idiot trying to explain to him that I wanted milk. He replied me don't have milk, I guess he was either lazy to go back down carry my milk back up or he's the idiot who didn't understand what milk is? Fei Yan laughed at me and said let it go. Arghh! I took the cup carried it all the way down to the counter and told them I wanted to milk. Thankfully they understood me, the worker helped me to carry my drink back up. Well I made him, he can't expect me to trot on my heels up the stairs with a full cup now is he?

Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread ~ Yummy.

Eggplant Pasta with Meat Sauce ~ Eee im scared of eggplant, so you know who ordered this. Not me ;)

Oreo Cheese ~ I couldn't taste Oreo only cheese, crushed peanuts not nice. PH Pastry House Oreo Cheesecake; I miss you.....

Green Tea Mousse ~ Okay but nothing special.

Mascarpone Layer ~ Nothing to shout about either.

Uncle Loi Rojak @ USJ 2

Uncle Loi opens his stall (1st Stall from the left) right opposite of Le Kwang restaurant in Usj 2 but he is not always there. There are many times where I was longing to eat his rojak and his stall was not open, so I took down his contact number so I can call him before wasting my time driving there.

His rojak use to be priced at RM 3.50 then RM 4.80 now RM 5.00, hmmphhh. Uncle Loi also sells kuih and soya bean.

Soya Bean with black sugar ~ I drank half on the way home, I couldn't resist it laying there staring at me. Tehee. I like I like :)

Rojak ~ Only cucumber and keropok, NICE :) Uncle Loi's keropok is so nice, crunchy and have no nuts and don't taste funny like those in Indian rojak. He's kiamsiap with the keropok so you'll have to pay extra if you want more. He's lucky I like his rojak else I would have boycott him long ago for his kiamsiapness:/

Upstairs Cafe @ SS12

That spot looks comfy, I arrived late Jee Sien was already sitting somewhere and it would be troublesome to get her to move. This time a picture would suffice.

Hazelnut Chocolate ~ Jee Sian said this was biasa.

Hot Chocolate ~ The chocolate is fair, just enough of chocolate, if lesser the taste will be diluted. So i can't say it's bad neither can I say it's excellent.

Big Breakfast ~ The button mushrooms are really good, baked beans normal, hot dog weird. I got free butter to go with my bread :)

We both had big breakfast ;)

I was nearly done with my meal left the bread i dropped my knife; "Klutz". I kept quiet without going to the counter to ask for another, I wanted to see if any of the waiters will actually take the initiative to hand me a new one without me having to ask. I waited say 10 mins still no, I was planning to finish my bread with the fork and then this cute waiter tending the counter came over to hand me a new knife. Bravo! He certainly scored points with me apart from his looks ;)

Finally someone who actually did something without me asking. Awesome. The food may not be excellent but the service I received is praiseworthy :)

Boardriders Cafe @ Mid Valley Megamall

There is only one table in the cafe, unless you're Speedy Gonzales; fast enough to snatch the seat, you'll have to sit outside.

The outside seating is not too bad, theres fans on the ceiling to keep you cool but under the current hot weather, i don't think so.

White Chocolate Strawberry Cake ~ I like how the strawberry layer gives the whole cake a lil umphh. It's like jelly. The white chocolate is too sweet.

Carrot Cake ~ Fei Yan said it was nice. I like eating carrots; raw, cooked but not in cakes. I do not share the same enthusiasm in vege cakes like how he does.

Kim Gary @ Mid Valley Megamall

Fei Yan wanted to go see the home expo, i tagged along. Its nice to see all the home appliances, electronics, so cool but I can't afford it, at least not yet. Hes shopping for his new house, Im curious to know how is he going to decorate the house. Unfortunately still quite a while before the house will be completed. Im getting hungry from all this curiosity, lets eat :)

Ying Yong in HK Style ~ I love drinking this, the way they mix the tea and coffee is just the way I like it. This time the coffee is a lil strong for my liking.

Fresh Lemon Honey Drink ~ Who drink this stuff??

Korean Nissin Noodle with Fried Egg & Ham ~ Trust me this is not maggi, maggi is not this expensive and filled with Ajinomoto ;) It's cool how they put corn and taugeh. I like the soup plus the noodles are springy :)

Fried Yang Zhou Style ~ Although it looks white and tasteless it's not. It's just nice, not like some fried rice where they flood it with seasoning that your hair drop with every bite you take.
